Why we built Meridian
Anyone who's manually updated a model from a new set of filings knows the reality of Excel in finance: it's foundational, but the day-to-day modeling work is tedious, time-consuming, and error-prone. And most Excel AI makes it worse with outputs that are impossible to review, trust, or verify in high-stakes settings.
We built Meridian to automate repeatable modeling work in a way that conforms to your templates, so outputs are deterministic and reviewable. Every result traces back to source data, so reviewers can verify numbers quickly and confidently.

What Meridian is
Meridian is an IDE designed for finance. We built a workspace where agents have full context across your existing models, PDFs, dataroom docs, and downstream decks. This lets Meridian execute complex workflows like refreshing forecasts or going from raw data room materials to full model builds, with complete traceability back to the source.
For large financial organizations, Meridian is configurable to your firm's templates and standards: formatting conventions, model structure, and validation checks. Source data becomes outputs that match exactly what your team is expected to deliver.
Built to feel familiar
The Meridian agent works across the Meridian app and inside Excel and Google Sheets. We support native Excel keytips and shortcuts, so you stay in flow.
Early traction
Since starting a few months ago, we've signed customer contracts worth nearly $5 million. We've assembled a team with experience from KKR, PJT, Evercore, and Lazard, alongside builders from Anthropic and Scale, brought together by a shared obsession with bringing agents to finance.
